Chapter 1:  p.22, ex 1.4  (skip rest)

Chapter 2: p 43-47.   You should be familiar with the bold terms appearing on these pages.

Chapter 3: p. 76-82.  You should be familiar with the bold terms appearing on these pages(except variant)

Chapter 4: p. 115-121.  You should be familiar with the bold terms appearing on these pages (except switch, null, and type declaration characters).

Chapter 5: p. 166-170.  You should be familiar with the bold terms appearing on these pages (except choose, Null, variant, and type declaration characters.   You do not have to know the upper and lower bounds of the values of numeric or Date data types but you do have to be able to evaluate arithmetic, relational, and/or Boolean expressions). 

Chapter 6:  p. 229-237.  You should be familiar with the bold terms appearing on these pages (except variant, vbButtonSandard, vbButtonGraphical,  vbDefault, vbHourglass, Picture, LoadPicture, Enum, End Enum, Screen, MousePointer, and Optional.   We have skipped recursion, named and optional arguments, and only used a few of the Math functions)

 

You should review the labs (the responses posted). 

 

The purpose of the quiz is to verify that you are not just going through the motions when you turn in a lab report. 

 

Some questions will be taken from the first 9 labs, some from the Self-Review exercises indicated above for the first six chapters.   There may be a couple of questions about the activities of the class over the first two weeks.  

 

There will be a review session before I hand out  the exam.   It will be pencil and paper without text or notes (it will ask things that I think you should have by now internalized).
