Prerequisite:  IFCS1101, 1201, or 1301 (or equivalent familiarity with computers and software)

Required textbook:  Visual Basic 6, How to Program by Deitel & Deitel and Nieto, Prentice Hall, 1999

Disabled Student Policy:  students are responsible for letting the instructor know of their needs.

Catalog Course Description: Continuation of Enterprise Information Science I; includes concepts in number systems, basic algorithms & programming in Visual Basic, basic SQL, and introduction to the Access Database system.  Four hours lab per week, 2 credits

Course Format:  

22 lab exercises

3 Exams

Course Grading:

Grade = (Lab Grade +Exam Ave.)/2

Lab Grade:  5 pts for each lab completed correctly and on time, 4 pts if lab is completed correctly but late, 0 pts for labs submitted after 24 hours.

Exams:  Number systems, IDE, and VB elements (chapters 1-6);

VB & GUI programming (7-13);
